What cultural team building is

Cultural team building is an experience designed for your team in a contemporary art gallery such as LOAD Gallery, in a creative studio in Poblenou or in your own office, facilitated by an expert. It is not a recreational activity: it is a learning session that uses art, craft and the culture of Barcelona to train human skills. From €1,000.

An escape room or an adventure activity produces adrenaline for an hour and not much more. A facilitated cultural experience works on something else: how the team looks, listens and talks. The team visits a gallery, learns a technique from an artist or explores a creative studio, and a facilitator connects what they see with questions about their own work. They leave with a shared vocabulary and applicable ideas, not just an anecdote.

What teams say

Tàpies' art encourages us to break away from preconceived notions and approach challenges with an open mind. Ultimately, this experience showed us how the strategies and processes that fuel creativity can also be applied to designing technological solutions.

The team at the Human Element organised a fantastic gathering for GBSB Global Alumni: an AI workshop, a founders' panel and drinks on the Norrsken terrace. They achieved our goal of exploring knowledge and building a network beyond work, with a warm, humanist touch.

Questions about cultural team building

See all FAQs →

Is this an alternative to the escape room?
Yes, if you want something that leaves more than an anecdote. An escape room entertains; a facilitated cultural experience trains creativity, listening and conversation, and the team takes away ideas they can apply to their work.
Do you visit museums?
We mostly work with contemporary art galleries (such as LOAD Gallery, in Poblenou), creative studios and artist-led workshops, as well as your own office. They are smaller spaces, where a private visit is genuinely private.
Do we need to know about art?
No. The experiences are designed for teams with no art background; the facilitator provides the context and guides the conversation.
How long does it take and how many people can come?
Between 1 and 3 hours depending on the experience, with groups of up to 25–30 people. For larger teams we design a bespoke format.
How much does it cost?
Most experiences start from €1,000 per group. We give you a fixed quote before you book.
